Dove Harvel Dumbo

Dear Juju Bear came back to us as an adult, along with his brother Bob, when a family tragedy forced his previous adopter to return them to me. I just adore Juju Bear. He's got some neurological issues that make his interactions with the world a little unusual but he's happy, he can navigate the cage with no problem and he can easily feed and groom himself. He's got a whole series of protocols for touch or interaction that he prefers (only rub the side of his shoulder, no loud noises, no new foods) which we try to follow to keep from startling or scaring him and he's really responsive to the right kinds of interaction. We don't know if his issues will shorten his life, but we've got his brother covered for companionship via their sweet old lady cagemate, Sputnik, and we're keeping Juju Bear happy and enjoying his company for as long as we've got.
