Hank was not the pick of the litter in terms of looks, show quality or breeding potential but every time I thought about placing him in a perfectly loving pet home, I wanted to burst into tears. So he stayed. And I'm so glad he did. He's the "ratincarnation" of our late and deeply beloved Nearly Hairless Nick - they have the same mannerisms, same personality, same markings. Hank makes me smile every day and I'm so glad he's been with me since birth so we can have the maximum time together which, as all rat lovers know, is always far too short. He's part of the Trio of Terror, along with brothers Axl and Quentin, and his job is to be the ringleader of the shenannigans.
